Delinquency stages

PayCredit's delinquency stages feature enables clients to define delinquency stages based on configurable trigger conditions. Each delinquency stage determines when an account is considered delinquent and applies predefined fees and actions accordingly.
By structuring delinquency into stages, clients can automate account management and ensure overdue accounts are processed consistently.

Managing delinquency requires a structured approach to handling overdue accounts. This feature:

  • Ensures consistency in how overdue accounts are classified.
  • Reduces manual intervention by automating trigger-based actions.
  • Supports business flexibility, allowing institutions to define their own delinquency rules.
  • Helps mitigate risk by applying predefined actions (e.g., blocking accounts) at different stages.

Key functionalities

  • Stage-based delinquency handling: define multiple stages of delinquency per product.
  • Customizable trigger conditions: configure triggers based on days overdue or missed repayments.
  • Automated action execution: system enforces fees and actions when a delinquency stage is activated.
  • Multi-condition triggers: stages can be triggered by either days overdue or missed repayments, or a combination of both.

Configuration conditions

  • A delinquency configuration must be set up before defining stages.
  • Each stage must have at least one trigger condition (days overdue or missed repayments).
  • System actions and fees must be predefined before being linked to stages.
