Delinquency actions

PayCredit's delinquency actions feature enables clients to enforce predefined system actions when an account reaches a specific delinquency stage. These actions are static, meaning they are preconfigured by the system and cannot be modified by users.
By automatically applying delinquency actions, this feature ensures compliance, reduces manual intervention, and enforces consistent risk management practices for overdue accounts.

Managing delinquent accounts requires automated enforcement of rules to reduce risk exposure and operational burden. This feature:

  • Ensures consistent application of account restrictions.
  • Helps protect financial institutions by limiting further exposure to delinquent accounts.
  • Reduces manual intervention, improving efficiency in delinquency management.
  • Aligns with regulatory compliance by enforcing standardized actions.

Key functionalities

  • Automated system actions: system triggers predefined actions when accounts reach a delinquency stage.
  • Risk mitigation measures: actions such as blocking transactions or disabling interest accrual (future feature) help manage delinquent accounts effectively.
  • Stage-based execution: different delinquency stages can enforce different actions.
  • Future expandability: additional actions such as notification triggers and elevated APR adjustments are planned for future implementation.

Configuration conditions

  • Delinquency stages must be configured before actions can be assigned.
  • Actions are predefined and cannot be customized by users.
