Card program specifications
As part of onboarding you complete our PSF. The PSF contains your requirements for your product setup and acts as a record of the card program and features you want to deploy.
A Project Manager from our Implementation Team guides you through completing this and preparing it for official sign-off.
General PSF requirements
Below we provide an overview of the information of each section of the PSF. Paymentology provides you with the PSF form after contract signature and will provide further context to the information required.

Client information
The client information section is completed by Paymentology and includes:
- Client contact details
- Scheme Member ID
X-API Key- BIN sponsor
Product information
The product information section assists to define the product and will be used to setup the product on Banking.Live. This section includes:
- Product ID
- Product description
- BIN
- BIN range
- Country of issuance
- Billing and settlement currency code(s)
- Card manufacturer
- Network/Scheme
- Rules Engine enablement
- PIN retries enablement
- Card expiry period
- Product type
- 3DSecure enablement and enrolment
- Stand-In enablement
- Scheme product code
- Scheme service code
- Auoblock removal period
- Product token flags
Limit rules
The limit rules section assists to define velocity limits you require for your card program. This section includes:
- Limit type: ECOM, POS, ATM etc.
- Limit frequency
- Spend number trigger
- Spend amount trigger
- MCC
- Decline reason
- Group applicability
Authorization fees
The authorization fees section assists to define fee calculation and collection from card accounts. This section includes:
- Group applicability
- Fee type: ECOM, POS, ATM, country etc.
- Spend mode and validation
- MCC
- Application stage
- Fixed amount
- Variable amount
- Min/max amount
Fraud rules
The fraud rules section is completed with the assistance of our Fraud Team. You will discuss this with them during onboarding.
FAST
The FAST section contains information around your FAST setup. This section includes:
- Authorization FAST message URL
- Settlement FAST message URL
- Card Status Update URL
- FAST version
- FAST request time out period
- FAST message retries
- FAST message type i.e. Active or Passive
- Number of settlement requests
Card manufacturer
The card manufacturer section contains required information about your chosen card manufacturer. This section includes:
- Card manufacturer name and contact details
- PGP encryption key ID
- Card generation schedule
Webservices
The webservices section contains the the Banking.Live API's you've chosen to integrate with.
Our Implementation Team will help you determine which Banking.Live API's you should integrate with based on your card program needs. Our team can then enable these API's for you in both UAT and Production environments.
Test cases
The test cases section contains a list of test cases to test and sign off. This list is determined and provided to you when you recieve the PSF.
ACS
The ACS (Access Control Server) section includes the details of the 3D Secure setup you are using. Paymentology and the ACS vendor complete this section. It includes:
- 3D Secure enablement
- Vendor
- Challenge profile ID
- OTP delivery option
- API key
- API URL
- Authentication over API
- Auto enrolment enablement
- Auto enrolment options
