Scheme requests and issuer events

Map scheme operations to the events your Notification integration receives.

Lume Token handles the scheme's issuer-facing requests on your behalf in Notification mode. You receive the common envelope described in Tokenization notifications, with the native request context inside ADDITIONAL_MESSAGE_DATA.

These are scheme operations, not URLs you must expose for Notification mode. Your endpoint receives the Lume Token notification envelope. A separate issuer-hosted contact-data lookup, when used, remains a request that requires contact data in its response.

Mastercard sends AuthorizeService and RAM in parallel during provisioning. Activation methods belong in RAM; an approved or declined provisioning request has no activation methods to return. Visa obtains step-up methods through a separate operation. Jaywan v1.2 returns methods in the provisioning response; this guide does not include the older separate Get User Validation Methods flow.

Use the scheme integration guides for the sequence relevant to your programme. The notification catalogue explains TER, TAR, RCD, OTP, AMR, DTB, and TNR without requiring you to implement every scheme's decision API.
