Outbound APIs

An outbound API is an API endpoint on the client system that Banking.Live can call when applicable.

Paymentology currently supports two outbound APIs specifically for Tokenization:

1. Retrieve Contact Data: allows Paymentology to retrieve cardholder contact data in masked format from the client.
2. Retrieve Product Configuration ID: allows Paymentology to retrieve the product configuration ID from the client.

These outbound APIs are optional and specific to clients utilizing Paymentology's tokenization services.

If you choose to use these outbound APIs:

• You need to develop an API on your side based on our specifications.
• You must provide the URL (endpoint) that will be called.
• Paymentology can then enable the API on PayControl.

Outbound API specifications
